Kings of the Blues
Man Street Blues put together this project in early 2019 as our tribute to the three Kings of Blues, bringing together the most popular classic blues songs from the three blues greats, namely Albert King, Freddie King and of course B.B. King. We aimed to present a fun and entertaining show which the band would take to theatres and festivals including the Edinburgh Fringe Festival.
To pay proper tribute to these great blues artists, we listed a fab horn section to augment the tracks with a solid brass section and backing vocalists.
The shows were being very well received and everything was going very well, with a run of very successful theatres shows until March 2020 when everything stopped, theatres closed and the country / world went into Lockdown.
The band took advantage of this down time to produce this CD with every member of the band recording their parts remotely, with mixing and production taking place at our Studio 79.
When venues started re-opening at the end of 2021 the band put the show back together with some changes and from 2022 are back touring theatres and festivals again.

Bluest Blue
Bluest Blue was originally launched on 30/03/2018 and has been well received over the last two years with the album receiving great reviews by many on-line Blues Radio channels around the globe and via You-Tube.
During 2020 as the COVID-19 pandemic hit, we were looking at opportunities to expand our recordings back catalogue, with the launch of our Studio 79 albums, we also looked at the option of re-mixing and re-mastering our original album to bring the Bluest Blues tracks more up to date through our home studio "Studio 79"
We are now pleased to re-launch this album with all re-mixed/ re-mastered tracks, PLUS we've included a new Bonus track version of "Move On" which features Iain performing a new Moog Synth Solo.

Main Street Blues debut album
The band went into the studio in December 2011 and produced a 6 track EP with stunning guitar from Derek and exciting keyboard solos from Ali Petrie on piano and Hammond.
The CD has a very modern feel to the music and includes a very atmospheric version of Feels Like Rain the band's most requested number and an upbeat version of Too Tired. The download includes two bonus tracks which were not on the original CD with Kirk Lothian on Hammond.
